Support
Thanks to the generous support of the Visegrad fund we
will be able to waive approximately 20 registration fees.
To apply for the waiver, please first
register for the conference using the provided
form (don't worry, registration may be canceled). In the form, indicate that
you will be applying for support.
Applications will be evaluated by the scientific committee and results will be announced to applicants.
We expect the evaluations to be finished by Dec 17th. Each
Each successful applicant will be awarded between 150 to 300 EUR towards covering his registration fee.

Students
After registering, please ask your advisor to send a letter of recommendation on your behalf
to
support@winterschool.eu. Please ensure that the letter
is sent
before the support application deadline! Also, you are very much encouraged to present some
of your work at the conference.
Researchers
If you are not a student anymore, you can ask for support as a researcher. Researchers will be
expected
to present a talk and their applications for support will be evaluated based on the abstracts they submit.
After registering (note that you do not need to provide the title of your talk up-front—just leave the field blank)
prepare an abstract of your talk. The abstract should be a
short (at most 1-page) pdf file.
When you have your abstract prepared, please upload it on the "Talk" tab of your profile page
(a link will be sent to you, once we process your registration); you can also send a copy to
support@winterschool.eu. Note that this must be
done
before the application deadline.
